Product development plans for the DuoVero series include faster COMs with more memory as well as additional expansion boards with new functions and features. {readmorelink}Read more...{/readmorelink}
Note that this list is subject to change and no commitment is being made as to when or if Gumstix will release these products.
The list of research and development·projects @ Gumstix for the DuoVero product line includes the following products, which are not shown in any specific order:
- 802.11 b/g/n mode wireless communication on some DuoVero COMs by Wi2Wi’s W2CBW0015 module, as well as a micro-access point mode supported directly in the linux kernel.
- Bluetooth 3.0. The Bluetooth audio data is planned to be available through the McBSP1 interface.
- OMAP4460-based Duovero COM.
Gumstix has recently released the following products for the Overo series:
- OMAP4430-based DuoVero Crystal COM
- breakout board for product development: Chateau
- expansion board for 10/100 Ethernet and HDMI communications: Parlor
